Samuel’s series is entitled “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind”. Although on first view it doesn’t seem like there’s anything directly related to the motion picture, having this title does attribute a kind of depth to Samuel’s work. What really demonstrates thought process is Samuel’s description of what process he went through to create these beautiful shots. He raises very interesting questions about how hard it is to find that balance between an eclectic body of work and one with a consistent style. Speaking from personal experience, I find this dilemma to be one of the toughest to overcome when practicing photography (and I’m far from having done so).
By the way, I’ve started building a project-based portfolio over on the superb Behance network, please check it out and say hi.
