Davey has a fantastic eye for composition. I love how he beautifully combines shapes and patterns from his immediate surroundings, and the pictures with women are just so delicate.

Cody’s landscape pictures are incredibly transporting. They seem to be taken in the most remote of places. I love how he composes pictures in a way that lets us wonder how vast and infinite the world is. Also, square format landscape photography isn’t something I see everyday, and even less with such diversity in terrain.

“In Between Passengers” is a project by Damien Rayuela involving portraits of people sitting in the bus, taken through the window reflections. Damien places special emphasis on the fact that these people were taken at a moment that we all find ourselves in, at some point in the day. It’s the trip back from work or school. That time of day when we disconnect and let the world hurry by as the bus brings us home. Using the window reflection is a great way to capture the facial expressions of people going through this part of their day. Damien beautifully merges the colors and tones from outside into each portrait.

There’s such an intense vibrancy of colors and patterns in Bobby’s work. He seems to know exactly how to compose a picture so the subject is completely isolated from its surroundings, either through the contrasting shapes and lines or by the sheer intensity of the tones.

Beautiful shots Alena Chendler. As I got through Alena’s photostream, my first reaction was to categorize it as fashion work, but after putting this selection of pictures together, I realized her portfolio varies between conceptual fashion-oriented captures to more raw-like photography with aesthetically great composition.

These are shots from fashion photographer Saga Sig and fashion designer & illustrator Hildur Yeoman, a project entitled “Garden Of Enchantment”. Most projects in Saga’s portfolio have a pronounced element of experimental, in this case she worked with Hildur (who did the styling and illustration) merging different art forms to create beautiful and surreal portraits. I love the different brush-stroke styles used to add the colors on the pictures, some look almost like coffee stains and others are applied with perfect accuracy.

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to find much of Daria’s work, but these should give you an idea of how great her work is. This nude photography is just pure, sensual and dazzling beauty.
